How to Create Your Massive Action Mindset
You know you've grown up with the realisation that goal setting is not just for the geeks.
Understand that life is not going to change unless you take massive action, and massive action is what sets apart very successful people from the average.
Successful goal-setting can create a massive action mindset.
A massive action mindset can be had by anyone. All that's needed is a 'can-do' attitude, a willingness to take every necessary action to achieve what you desire. It's what makes the difference between those who hope to succeed and those are absolutely committed to achieving their goals.
If you get to the bottom of what it is that drives you, what is your reason why, then we have something to work with. Sitting around wishing and hoping will no longer be an option. Don't waste any more time doing that. Look for what needs to change and take action.
How can you reset your own goal-setting mindset?
1) Identify your 'Must Have' motivation, and why it is so important to you - without fully comprehending this you will simply drift along.
2) Write down your Goals. We will discuss further on a future post but separate your goals into categories within you life, familial, financial etc. For each goal you set, think about how it would impact your life both positively and negative.
ex. I want to be financially free so that I can I holiday in the Maldives. I want to be financially free so that I can spend more time with family. I want to be financially free OR ELSE I will continue to feel like someone else owns my time. I want to be financially free OR ELSE the stress of my current position will impact my health. Using SO THAT and OR ELSE, and re reading your goals when times are getting difficult will help you stay on the right track.
3) Chart the initial steps needed to start seeing the goal take shape
a) conduct research on the internet
b) find a suitable business model, create a business plan, speak to relevant parties to support or challenge your research online.
c) Start the business. - list all of the practical steps you need to consider.
4) Condition your mind to make it happen. Write your goals on 3 x 5 cards and post them where you can see them - i.e. on the mirror where you brush your teeth or the fridge. Visualise yourself actually experiencing your goal.
5) Review your daily routine. Where do you need to get out of your comfort zone and start different activities?
6) Remain absolutely committed to your goal. Do not let obstacles hinder you but find a way to overcome them. Learn to dig deep and tap into your own resources. Like me, you will probably be amazed how you can change your mindset. I managed to begin by making minor changes and taking the necessary action on a daily basis.
Success doesn't come by chance - it comes by design. Putting these simple goal setting secrets in place will show you how to create your own massive action mindset.
